About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Surgeon to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Studer Family Children's Hospital. As a member of our pediatric subspecialties department, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional medical care to children and families in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality surgical care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pediatric surgery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Board certification in pediatric surgery or board eligibility with completion of a pediatric surgery fellowship program.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced life support certification, such as ACLS or PALS.
