About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Surgeon to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Studer Family Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents, performing complex surgical procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surgical procedures on children and adolescents, including laparoscopic and open surgeries
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, including congenital anomalies, trauma, and cancer
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including preoperative and postoperative care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in pediatric surgery
Requirements
  • Board certification in pediatric surgery
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Florida
  • Completion of a pediatric surgery fellowship program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
