Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Westpark Springs, a 72-bed behavioral hospital in Richmond, TX. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients suffering from mental health issues and/or chemical dependency.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing innovative and exceptional psychiatric care in a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Coordinating and delivering quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients
  • Ensuring medical orders are followed, initiating and following treatment planning
  • Acting as a patient advocate at all times
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited program of professional nursing training
  • Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
  • CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients is preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities is also desirable.
