Cytotechnologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Archbold Medical Center. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by analyzing and interpreting cell samples.

• Process and prepare specimens for screening and analysis
• Report results accurately and timely to ensure effective patient care
• Troubleshoot processes to maintain daily workflow and ensure efficiency
• Collect and analyze statistical data to monitor quality assurance and improve laboratory practices
• Research and implement new technical procedures to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
• Provide expert consultation to physicians and nurses on cell analysis and diagnostic techniques
• Orient new employees to ensure a smooth transition and effective onboarding

• Bachelor's Degree in Cytotechnology or a related field
• Certification in Cytotechnology from a CAHEA-accredited school or other recognized organization
• Competency assessment and continuing education in laboratory sciences required throughout employment
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Cytotechnologist
