Position Overview:

As an Elementary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering grade-level content and tailored lesson plans that align with district standards. Your role will be pivotal in guiding students through their educational journey, focusing on both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development of essential skills and confidence in students through a balanced approach to learning.
  • Oversee and manage student behavior, promoting positive conduct in accordance with school policies.
  • Assess and document student performance, behavior, and social development.
  • Engage with parents, guardians, and educational staff to address and resolve academic and behavioral challenges.
  • Design and implement educational materials and objectives that meet curriculum standards.
  • Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and technologies to cater to various learning styles.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A valid teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education is necessary.
  • Commitment to promoting racial and educational equity, working to eliminate systemic barriers within the community.
  • Residency in Colorado is required for this position.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.
