Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Albanese Candy. As a member of our retail team, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering results. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, processing transactions accurately, and providing outstanding customer service. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about our products, develop your sales skills, and participate in visual merchandising and inventory management activities.

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations based on customer needs
* Ring up customer purchases using our point-of-sale system
* Maintain knowledge of current policies and procedures
* Prepare merchandise for purchase, stock shelves, fill bins, bag/box/candy in trays, and assist with decorating
* Perform cleaning duties to keep the store in line with Health Code standards
* Responsible for monitoring quality and complying with company quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

* Excellent interpersonal skills – team player
* Hard worker who is a self-starter and proactive
* Ability to multitask
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Making decisions and problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented with proficiency in basic math
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
