Urology Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity

Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health is seeking a highly skilled Urology Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive urology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of urological conditions.
  • Collaborate with urologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey.
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Urology.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Urology Nurse Practitioner or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
