Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Radiology Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of imaging scans, working independently, and collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and other caregivers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures, including GIs, GUs, pediatrics, arthrograms, and spine center imaging.
  • Produce high-quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely entry of technical data.
  • Notify management and take action to address equipment malfunctions.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams.
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures and monitor patient priority.
  • Demonstrate care and operation of Radiology equipment according to technical specifications and applications.
  • Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic, GU, GI, and pediatric procedures.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS.
  • Report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS Administrator.
  • Process billing via RIS.
  • Provide instruction and mentoring to new hires and Radiology students.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Current state licensure required prior to employment.
  • (BLS) certification required.
