Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL-A driver to join our team at Univar Solutions. As a Regional Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport hazardous materials and wastes within a 275-mile radius of our domicile terminal.
Key Responsibilities- Pick-up and delivery of materials and wastes
- Complete inspections and paperwork associated with materials/waste pickup transport
- Ensure safety and compliance of load
- Use onboard Samsara e-Logging Device to handle accurate driver duty statuses and planned freight order delivery routing sequencing
- Apply ePOD device to accurately collect customer delivery receipt of goods and other relevant shipment documents
- Valid Class A CDL license with HazMat and Tanker endorsements
- Ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English
- 22 years old or older
- 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
- No more than 3 minor accidents in recent years
- No DWI/DUI/BAC in the past 5 years
- No license suspension for a moving violation in the last 3 years
- Experience on SAMSARA or equivalent ELD
- Experience working in a regional capacity with a 55-hour work week
- Hauling BULK HAZMAT products and perishable consumer goods
- Operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions
- Physical ability to lift and carry at least 55 pounds
- Ability to tilt back or break 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly
- Physical ability to sit/stand and walk for long periods
- Test negative on the company's drug tests
- Satisfy all DOT physical qualifications requirements to qualify and maintain a CDL-A
