This role involves conducting detailed audits across various locations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit facilities, suppliers, and warehouses for compliance with corporate quality management policies and procedures.
- Schedule, prepare for, and conduct audits, including those required by regulatory bodies and corporate standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
- Work closely with teams to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in managing customer food safety-related complaints.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a food industry QA role, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory position.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- HACCP and PCQI certification, with experience in GFSI auditing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation:
- $75k-$85k annually, based on experience.
- Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
