Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Fresh Express. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our raw products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw products to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards
- Verify reception data to determine if products meet specifications
- Monitor and record key process indicators to ensure compliance with quality management procedures
- Address issues and assist managers with problem-solving across functional departments
- Prepare reports and ensure data is accurately collected for quality scorecards
- Assist the R&D department with projects as assigned
- Ensure raw products are harvested in compliance with company specifications
- Perform document retention sample programs
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive motions
- Basic skills using Microsoft Office, primarily with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of GMP's, GAP's, SSOP's, SOP's
- Preferred skills: ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, bilingual (English and Spanish)
Working Conditions:
Exposure to the elements (windy, warm, cold temperatures), cold warehouse temperatures (32-37F)
