We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team at Project HOME. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Support: Provide clinical support to our dental team, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, including welcoming and comforting patients, documenting patient information, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our dental team, including managing patient flow, triaging walk-ins, and maintaining accurate records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of dental equipment, including completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Supply Management: Manage dental supplies, including ordering and expediting supplies, verifying receipt, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Education and Certification: Current EFDA License for the state of Pennsylvania or Graduation from a Dental Assisting program, Current Radiology certificate, and Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or EFDA, with management experience in a clinical environment preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to skillfully manage a team, understand the overall purpose of clinical care, and importance of support staff. Strong judgment, patience, integrity, organization, and prioritization skills. Attention to detail, dependability, listening and communication skills, and flexibility.
