Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages suffering from various types of illness or trauma. You will serve as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care is delivered to optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Course certification (TNCC) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience
