We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Froedtert Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department
- Collaborate with clinical and front office staff, administration, and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care
- Provide critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent experience
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 30 days of hire
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire
