We require candidates who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of intricate gift, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Conducting thorough reviews of various tax returns and identifying potential tax concerns.
- Engaging in tax planning strategies for clients.
- Researching technical accounting and tax matters.
- Providing mentorship to junior staff, offering guidance and support.
- Ensuring strict confidentiality of all client information.
- Carrying out additional accounting and tax-related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting environment, including the preparation and/or review of gift, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated integrity and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
