JT4 is hiring an onsite Mission Planner for their Edwards Air Force Base located in California.

Perform BOMBERS Mission Support System (MSS) mission planning & mission data duties for the U.S. Air Force BOMBERS Squadron Edwards AFB. Operate and maintain BOMBERS MSS mission planning product suite. Provide support, assistance and guidance to squadron weapons officer in establishing and maintaining BOMBERS mission data sensor scenarios. Assist BOMBERS pilots with operational mission planning and post-mission debrief support. Interface daily with BOMBERS pilots and frequently with BOMBERS maintenance personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting actual mission planning for Bomber test missions (B-1,B-2,B-52)Assessing MP updates/changes/fixesInstalling test software, then assessing itMaintaining system and S/WCoordinating Authorizations to Operate (ATOs and hardware upgradesAttending demo evals, FQTs, etc.Building relationships across organizationsProviding inputs to SPO, Operational Test, Prime ContractorInterpreting requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

B.A. or B.S. degree or higherExperience with Joint Mission Planning System, Portable Flight Planning SoftwareExperience with troubleshooting computer hardware/software equipment2-5 years of current Mission planning experience with aircraft or weapon systems OR experience with Linux, UNIX, Solaris or Windows operating systemsExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteMust be a US Citizen.Secret Clearance, SAP eligible, or previously held Secret ClearanceAbility to effectively communicate (both verbal and written) and work as part of a team.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:

Prior military experienceTest experience (plan/provision/execute/analyze/report)Flight experienceExperience with one or more of the following planning software: Portable Flight Planning Software, Joint Mission Planning System, Common Sensor Planner, AFMSS, Omniview, Enterprise Collection Planner, and/or Combat Flight Planning SoftwareExperience with web-based flight planning (i.e. Skyvector.com, etc.)Prior military Bomber tactics, electronic warfare systems experiencePrior experience with BOMBERS mission planning or BOMBER WeaponsCompTIA Security + certification highly desired; otherwise, ability to obtain certification within 6 months upon hiring

SALARY

The expected salary range for this position is $100K to $160K annually.
