We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at LIVIT Staffing Agency. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing a variety of tasks in Building Maintenance, Maintenance and Repair, and operating power-driven equipment.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role that involves working independently to solve technical problems, make recommendations, and lead maintenance or repair projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing production machines and plant equipment, providing emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment, and executing mechanic skills including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

As a Building Maintenance Technician at LIVIT Staffing Agency, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. You will also be responsible for performing plumbing maintenance, carpentry functions, and general building upkeep.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, interpret shop drawings, sketches, and work orders, and work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair production machines and plant equipment.
  • Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
  • Execute mechanic skills including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance, carpentry functions, and general building upkeep.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree preferred; completion of a craft apprenticeship is a plus.
  • At least two years of experience in maintenance and repair, including operation of equipment and knowledge of P/C, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Computer literacy required; HVAC license and valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to pass and maintain forklift certification; must be on call outside normal work hours as needed.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
