Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and resolution of intricate Server OS issues to guarantee optimal performance and uptime of Windows Servers.
- Upgrade legacy servers to the latest versions (2016, 2019, and 2022) to align with industry standards and best practices.
- Leverage extensive vSphere Operations expertise to effectively oversee and maintain our virtualization framework, with a requirement for familiarity with OVF Templates for efficient deployment.
- Utilize GitLab and Operating System pipelines for template creation, ensuring streamlined deployment processes.
- Possess a moderate background in SCCM/ConfigMgr, including experience in application/package creation and deployment, as well as Software Update Group (SUG) management.
- Establish, manage, and execute monthly patching for Windows Server to maintain system security and compliance.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for security solutions such as HBSS, Nessus Agent (ACAS), and Carbon Black.
- Extensive experience in Windows Server administration, covering operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in upgrading servers to versions 2016, 2019, and 2022, with a focus on compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of vSphere Operations, including management and deployment using OVF Templates.
- Experience with GitLab and Operating System pipelines for template creation is highly valued.
- Moderate experience in SCCM/ConfigMgr, including application/package creation and deployment, along with Software Update Group (SUG) management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute monthly patching for Windows Server.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience.
