As a key member of our Anesthesiology team at Caldwell Memorial Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia care to our patients. Responsibilities- Assess patients pre-operatively, conducting thorough histories and physicals, developing anesthesia plans, and documenting assessments and plans.
- Meet departmental quality metrics for turnover times, on-time starts, and quality improvement submissions.
- Participate in continuing education and professional meetings, contribute to clinical learning experiences, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and legible anesthesia records, Impact Care reports, and other documents.
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care, adhering to Department of Anesthesiology standards, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina. Board certification may be required by the Department.
- No prior experience required.
