Job Summary

The Town of Greenwich, CT is seeking a skilled Ice Skating Instructor to join our team at the Dorothy Hamill Rink. As a key member of our Parks and Recreation Department, you will be responsible for teaching ice skating lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a minimum of two days per week for one or two group lessons as determined by the head instructor or rink manager
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse students
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skating skills
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience for students

Requirements

  • Current liability insurance
  • P.S.G.A. of I.S.I.A. certification (Skating School lessons and/or private lessons)
  • Ability to work a maximum of 15 hours per week

Working Conditions

This is a temporary/seasonal position with the Town of Greenwich, CT. The successful candidate will be required to work at the Dorothy Hamill Rink, which is a state-of-the-art ice skating facility.
