Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer II to join our team at Agiliti Health, Inc. in Ellis, KS. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our IT infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design and implementation of hybrid-cloud strategies to ensure high-availability for critical network, server, and storage systems.
  • Develop and present IT patterns and strategies to IT leadership based on anticipating business-driven needs and historical performance and configuration information.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Review system and application logs for performance tuning opportunities and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Participate in the review, writing, and understanding of IT standards and security policies.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Experience with automation and scripting best practices on Linux and Windows.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with data center operations, cloud providers, network switching, application load balancing, and firewall management.
  • Strong understanding of high-availability techniques and application load balancing for IBM Websphere and related web-based applications.
  • Experience with non-disruptive network, storage, and server migrations to optimize IT infrastructure and application performance.
  • Experience with disaster recovery configurations and high-availability within cloud providers to achieve resiliency and site failovers.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including experience in hypervisors, redundant and high-availability solutions, and on-site to cloud migrations.
