Proud Moments is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, individualized services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote positive behavior change and skill development in children with ASD.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and effectiveness of treatment plans, and report findings to BCBAs and other stakeholders.
- Support BCBAs in training families on implementing individualized treatment plans, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and supervisors, ensuring clear communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA and child development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, child development) preferred.
- Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities; training in ABA principles and practices a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
- Competitive hourly rate: $19-$27/hour.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate part-time or full-time needs.
- Ongoing training and support to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA and child development.
