As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will work with students who require behavioral support in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:

* Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to assist students confronting behavioral hurdles.
* Collect data on student behavior and progress towards individualized objectives.
* Provide direct support and instruction to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
* Cultivate collaboration with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior interventions across various environments.
* Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as needed.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
* Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
* Previous experience working with children or adolescents with autism or behavioral disorders preferred.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
