Job Title: Automotive Service Manager

Conrad's Tire Express and Total Car Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the service department in diagnosing customer needs and providing quality service to build customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and communicate customer needs to the service department for diagnosis and repair.
  • Verify that the appropriate services have been completed and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sell tires, automotive accessories, and service repairs to satisfy customer needs.
  • Learns and maintains current product knowledge on all tires, service, and other products represented by Conrad's.
  • Accurately answer customer questions and provide excellent customer service.
  • Establish a trusting relationship with customers based on integrity and fairness.
  • Willingly provide superior customer service levels that exceed customer expectations.
  • Build a loyal customer base and prepare accurate estimates and billings for customers.
  • Manage employee productivity, store expenses, and inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with the Store Leader and other team members.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Tire and Automotive, Sales and Customer Service, and retail automotive tire Branch Operations knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and solve practical problems.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and outside weather conditions. The employee regularly works extended hours, including Saturdays, and may attend meetings after normal business hours. Travel between locations is often required.
