Overview: Candidates must possess a valid license and/or registration as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant in the relevant state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver thorough treatment to clients under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, adhering to state regulations.
- Support the Physical Therapist in selecting suitable patients and directing them to rehabilitation services as needed.
- Record patient advancements in weekly progress notes promptly and accurately, ensuring the Physical Therapist's co-signature is obtained.
- Verify that medical directives are secured for treatments, recertifications, and patient discharges.
- Complete all necessary documentation as required and in compliance with state standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited institution with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
- Must hold a current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the applicable state.
Compensation: USD $50.00 per hour.
