We are seeking a Custodian 1 to join our team at the Washington Veterans Home. As a Custodian 1, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. This includes vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash, and performing various housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash.
- Perform various housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed to maintain the facility's cleanliness and organization.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in custodial work or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
