Job Summary

Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, and pans, and ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using a dishwashing machine
  • Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Polish silverware using a burnishing machine or chemical dip
  • Comply with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces
  • Remove trash and place it in designated containers
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Help load and unload supplies and product
Requirements:
  • Previous dishwashing experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
