About the Role:
As a Commercial HVAC/R Maintenance Technician at Walmart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing our commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, utilizing your expertise in mechanical maintenance and construction-related fields. We offer a competitive salary range of $30.00-$55.00 per hour*, dependent on your qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in commercial HVAC/R maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field. A Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling is also required. Preferred qualifications include completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program and/or holding a Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
  • Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose issues
  • Complete repair work orders and provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related fields
Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
