Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be integral to a newly established Middle Office team, working in close partnership with various departments including Investment, Fund Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Legal & Compliance. This position offers significant exposure to diverse teams and direct interaction with the front office deal team, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Investment team, internal and external legal advisors, sellers, and agents to gather essential documentation and information for transaction closures.
  • Analyze and review documents from managers and sellers to prepare and update investment schedules in anticipation of transaction finalization.
  • Work collaboratively with offshore team members to ensure accurate and timely data entry of investment information into relevant systems.
  • Engage with the Expense Management team to ensure prompt payment of investment-related costs.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to maintain data integrity and ensure that investments are compliant and in good standing.
  • Effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction closing process to ensure efficient execution of investments.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work within a team-oriented environment, demonstrating motivation, intelligence, and sound judgment. Key qualifications include:

  • 1-5+ years of relevant experience in operations, audit, or accounting; familiarity with private equity is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree with commendable academic achievements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in planning, communicating, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to build relationships across various teams.
  • A high level of motivation and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
