Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
Primary Duties:
Lead a team focused on advancing DISH's Hybrid Cloud Network and fulfilling virtualization requirements.
Define and oversee the development of DISH's Cloud Native Open RAN and 5G Core Cloud infrastructure.
Shape product roadmaps for partners such as DELL, Intel, AWS, and Broadcom, guided by industry developments.
Collaborate with various partners to enhance and optimize DISH's hybrid cloud hosting solutions.
Encourage RAN, 5G Core, and cloud partners to embrace cloud-native methodologies and principles.
Contribute to the establishment of industry standards for automating orchestration and lifecycle management of Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs).
Qualifications and Skills:
As a successful Lead Virtualization Architect, you will possess:
Essential Skills:
Familiarity with various cloud platforms, including private (VMware, RedHat, etc.) and public (AWS, Google, etc.)
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
Professional experience with VMware TKG, Red Hat OpenShift, Wind River, or AWS EKS
Background in Linux system administration
Understanding of Nephio and ETSI NFV architectural frameworks and relevant standards
Expertise in DevOps principles, CI/CD processes, and automation tools.
Experience in onboarding and lifecycle management of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs)
Experience in telecommunications product development
Knowledge and experience in RAN and 5G Core domains

The base salary range provided is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is determined by the role's location and may change based on work location.
