Job Overview

As a Mobile Service Technician with HYTORC, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the assigned territory by creating and maintaining customer relationships, managing customer tool repairs and calibration needs, and serving as a technical consultant addressing various application challenges.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures. You will be working independently and within a team environment, with a proven track record of customer service and sales success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit and perform repair and calibration needs, as well as to provide technical consultations.
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers to grow new business, including cold calls, networking, and leads.
  • Work with HYTORC Bolting Specialists within the assigned territory to ensure territory growth.
  • Combine technical experience with company training to address customer needs, including troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and manual tools, pumps, and equipment.
  • Provide required reporting to the Repair Manager, including schedule updates, tasks completed, market information, and activity reports detailing weekly accomplishments.
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • 3 years of hands-on mechanical/technical experience
  • Proven track record of customer service and sales success
  • Proven track record of working independently and within a team environment
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Ability to fill and manage schedule
  • Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Clean and valid driver's license
