Production Support Metrologist

At CoreTek Labs, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Metrologist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- CMM Operations: Operate CMM machines to measure and inspect BIW components, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Program Development: Develop and modify CMM programs to accommodate new parts and changes in design, utilizing software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, and Polyworks.
- Quality Inspection: Perform detailed inspections of BIW components to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards, analyzing measurement data and generating comprehensive inspection reports.
- Data Analysis: Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor and analyze measurement data, preparing and presenting detailed reports on inspection results.
- Maintenance and Calibration: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or technical certification in metrology, quality control, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming CMM machines, preferably in an automotive BIW environment.
- Skills: Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
