Job Summary:

As a Laboratory Technical Assistant at McLaren USA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services. Your primary responsibility will be to collect and process specimens from patients, while maintaining a safe and clean working environment. You will work closely with our clinical laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process patient specimens, including blood and non-blood samples, in accordance with established laboratory procedures.
• Verify patient registration data and test orders in our hospital information system/laboratory information system.
• Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, processing, and storage.
• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure efficient specimen processing and testing.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with laboratory standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified as a phlebotomy technician or previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
