Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned GIS professional with a strong background in application development and geospatial software engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying geospatial applications and capabilities to support business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop geospatial applications and capabilities to support business activities
  • Maintain or create geospatial application program interfaces (APIs) including ESRI's ArcGIS Server APIs
  • Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries and proficiency with.NET, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Python, and Java
  • Familiarity with RDBMS software including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
  • Strong technical written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience performing application development with five (5) years performing GIS application development
  • Proven experience with documenting code and performing version control using industry standards tools
