We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our Applications and Product Development team at Drew Marine. Key Responsibilities:- Support Laboratory Operations: Assist laboratory staff with sample preparation, conduct routine application tests to evaluate product performance, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Conduct Analytical Analysis: Perform analytical analysis using test kits and instrumentation such as spectrophotometers, titrators, and other relevant equipment.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with members of product management, technical service, and operations teams to interpret test results and develop new products.
- Ensure Compliance and Safety: Maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in the laboratory.
- Education: B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related Science.
- Experience: 2+ years of industrial lab experience preferred, with knowledge of basic wet chemistry techniques and safe chemical handling procedures.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The successful candidate will work in a laboratory environment around chemicals and testing equipment, with some lifting required for sample and material handling.
