We are looking for a highly skilled Automotive Sales Leader to join our team at United Auto Group in California.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team and driving revenue growth. You will achieve this by recruiting, training, and motivating sales staff to meet or exceed performance targets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Our company offers a competitive salary, ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Identify sources, interview, pre-employment screening, reference checks, select candidates with required skills and abilities.
  • Ongoing Development: Set expectations, conduct on-going training, product knowledge, prospecting, overcoming objections, schedule salesmen fairly.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve or exceed budget on volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction, enforce guest log, thank guests, inform guests of right from the start, help sales staff manage time, follow up daily.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Develop future assistant managers, evaluate sales staff, be a role model, treat all salesmen equally.
  • Operational Management: Merchandising, lot control, ensure adequate coverage, keep customer parking clear, trade Ins stored properly, demo's and old units clean and ready for sale.
