Echocardiograph Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiograph Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As an Echocardiograph Technician, you will be responsible for performing adult and pediatric echocardiographic studies, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiographic studies using various modalities, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging.
• Report identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in echocardiography.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate
• Board Eligible Echocardiographer at time of hire
• BLS
• Pediatric experience
• Experience in Cardiac Ultrasound; M-mode, 2-D, Color Flow Imaging, and TEE
• Experienced in diagnostic care procedures
• 1-3 years Diagnostic Cardiac testing, CPR

Certifications and Licenses:

• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification must be obtained within 18 months of hire
