Echocardiograph Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiograph Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing adult and pediatric echocardiographic studies, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiographic studies using various modalities, including M-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and Color Flow Imaging.
• Report identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

• High School Graduate
• Echocardiographer must be board eligible at time of hire
• BLS
• Pediatric experience
• Experience in Cardiac ultrasound; M-mode, 2-D, Color Flow Imaging, and TEE
• Experienced in diagnostic care procedures
• 1-3 years Diagnostic Cardiac testing, CPR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Certifications and Licenses
