Key Responsibilities

  • Sell footwear products to customers by advising them on proper selections and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cost control in inventory, cash, truck expense, travel expense, and other areas that affect profitability.
  • Perform on-site cold calls to develop qualified leads and increase sales.
  • Replenish inventory via orders and ensure proper handling of special orders.
  • Promote a positive company image by maintaining a neat and clean appearance, including wearing Red Wing shoes and shirts while on duty.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass basic DOT requirements.
  • High school diploma (or GED) and two years of sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical requirements include bending, lacing shoes, climbing ladders, lifting 30 pounds, and performing light housekeeping tasks.
