Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and self-starting Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Automation Technology team. The ideal candidate will assist with research, development, documentation, and project-related tasks, while gaining hands-on experience in the field of automation.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with research tasks for new technology, component research, and vendor information
  • Support general documentation tasks centered around project development, project management, and data collection
  • Handle basic project-related and engineering tasks as needed
  • Support the Corporate Automation Engineering teams as needed
Requirements
  • Currently studying in a mechanical engineering or related technical field
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a goal-oriented team environment
Desired Skills
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software
  • Experience with design for assembly/manufacturing principles
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
