Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, verifying patient information, and processing transactions.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification.
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
