About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals. As a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to participants in their daily lives, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Develop and implement personalized plans to help participants achieve their goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with participants, families, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that promotes a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
