United Rentals is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Power/HVAC division, you will be responsible for performing jobsite installations and minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform jobsite installations and minor repairs on HVAC equipment
  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Install HVAC equipment, dehumidification, and air purification equipment at customer locations
  • Conduct maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment
  • Report equipment condition before and after usage
  • Demonstrate equipment for customers
  • Assist with loading and unloading of equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • EPA Universal Certificate
  • Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools applicable to the position
  • Basic electrical aptitude
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency service
