We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Pearce Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements.
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
- Utilize various torque and tension tools to perform daily work requirements.
- 3 years of experience in wind maintenance required.
- GWO certification preferred.
- Ability to work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
- Knowledge of various turbine platforms.
- Ability to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
