About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Pearce Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to wind turbine generators and related equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally, adhering to company policies and insurance requirements.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Utilize various torque and tension tools to perform daily work requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in wind maintenance required.
  • GWO certification preferred.
  • Ability to work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
  • Knowledge of various turbine platforms.
  • Ability to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
