Responsibilities- Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing a plan of care that addresses individual patient and family needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including procedural care, phlebotomy/lab draws, chemotherapy/biotherapy infusions, blood product administration, and urgent care visits.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families, promoting their ability to advocate for themselves.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
