Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our client's team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the month-end close process with precision and efficiency
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze income statement accounts on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation
  • Prepare monthly expense accruals and analyze significant account variances
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and respond to information requests
  • Assist with audits and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of relevant accounting experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAP required
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience using Navision or NetSuite a plus
  • Intermediate Excel experience required
