Key Responsibilities
  • Ministry Development: Collaborate with the Early Childhood Director and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive ministry plan that aligns with the church's vision and values.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of Sunday morning and Wednesday night early childhood programming, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for children and families.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of volunteers to support early childhood ministry, fostering a culture of servant leadership and teamwork.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with parents, volunteers, and staff to ensure a unified and supportive community.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing church-wide events, such as Summer VBS and Holiday services, that cater to the needs of early childhood families.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Grace Kids and NXT Gen, to ensure a cohesive and integrated ministry approach.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Ministry, or a related field).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a role involving early childhood ministry, volunteer management, and program execution.
  • Personal Qualities: Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrates a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission, and conducts life with integrity.
