Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Sr. .NET Software Engineer to join our team as a Senior Software Architect. This is a senior developer position responsible for the design and development of dynamic enterprise class software applications in addition to mentoring and assisting other team members.
The successful candidate will be technically talented and a team player with experience in all aspects of SDLC. Key responsibilities include collaborating with team to identify end user requirements and technical specifications, developing efficient, elegant, and quality code based on requirements, debugging, testing and deploying applications, troubleshooting and improving existing applications, and organizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Additional responsibilities include developing technical documents to guide future development projects, experience with Agile development practices, strong problem solving and communication skills, rapid web application development using Net, MVC and other design patterns such as Web Forms, experience developing with popular JavaScript frameworks: Angular, or Backbone or jQuery, experience on cloud platforms such as Azure, designing, developing, and utilizing web APIs - Microservices, experienced using tools such as Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server, experience with the .Net (Core) framework, use of object-relational mapping tools such as Microsoft Entity Framework, experience with Microservices and Containers (Docker) a plus, experience with Cross-browser Compatibility and troubleshooting, assist the manager in guiding the team and assessing performance, setting best practice standards, and in training new developers, and assist in the preparation of specifications, user requirements and accurately estimate the effort required.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a directly related position required, completion of a Bachelors Degree is required. Strong preference for the completion of a major in IT, MIS or Computer Science ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You must have strong written and verbal skills in English and ability to communicate effectively. Additionally, you must be able to build and maintain positive business relationships with co-workers and other business contacts. Experience working with REST api's, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS, relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, and programming certifications for IT professionals are welcomed and will be considered.
