Overview

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join a dynamic team of Pediatricians and Advanced Practice Providers at our Pediatric practice located in Bennington, Vermont.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative services to ensure timely care of patients
  • Abide by Dartmouth Health Bylaws and Code of Conduct
  • Review patient records and medical history
  • Determine diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Order screening and diagnostic tests and studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Initiate referrals and admissions/discharge as necessary
  • Provide consultation, education, and counseling on acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure patient privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent
  • Supervise APPs as directed
  • Participate in continuing medical education and quality initiatives
