About the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in our Inpatient Hospice unit. As an RN on our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
Education and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1+ years of experience in hospice or palliative care nursing
- An Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Working Conditions:
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting. You may also be exposed to moderate noise levels and bright lights.
